My submission for AIGA Colorado's Bordo Bello fundraiser is a little exploration into cryptozoology, illustrated taxidermy and my own strange sense of humour. The process for creating this board consisted of staining the deck a rich, dark brown to emphasize contrast and adding wallpaper details in acrylic. I then mounted the individual illustrations (done in pen and watercolor on paper) onto the board.
Bordo Bello is a skateboard art fundraiser hosted annually by AIGA Colorado. Proceeds from boards help to fund mentorship programs in Colorado. More information at bordobello.com.
